All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the mission of Song Weavers Philippines to nurture young talents, giving them the opportunity to grow as singers while pursuing their university studies as scholars.

About
The Song Weavers Philippines, under the Company of Singers and Musicians of International Calibre (COSMIC) Philippines, is composed of seasoned choral artists who have proudly represented the country in numerous international festivals and competitions. The group is led by Artistic Director and Choirmaster Alfred Allan Samonte, who also serves as the Executive Director of the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers (Madz).
Inspired by the Madz and its founder, National Artist for Music Prof. Andrea O. Veneracion, the Song Weavers carry forward the mission of promoting peace, harmony, and cultural exchange through music. Beyond performances, the group is also committed to discovering and nurturing young Filipino talents, offering them opportunities to pursue higher education while singing with the ensemble.
A Legacy of Performances
The choir has performed extensively in the Philippines, including solo concerts and the Madz Et Al Choral Festival, and most recently joined the Philippine Madrigal Singers in a production of Handel’s Messiah with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. Internationally, they have represented the Philippines at the Arirang Multicultural Festival in South Korea (2018), the Venezia il coro Festival in Italy (2023), and most recently at the 127th Philippine Independence Day celebration in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Scandinavia Tour 2025
As part of their European journey, the Song Weavers are set to explore Scandinavia from October 24 to November 5, 2025. These concerts aim to bring Filipino music closer to international communities and, in particular, share a piece of home with our kababayans abroad.
A Concert With A Cause
This tour also supports a bigger dream: raising funds for the Madz Choral Art and Music Performance Center. This upcoming hub will focus on three key programs:
- Production and Exchange of Artistic Knowledge (PEAK)
- Arts and Culture in Education (ACE)
- Culture Appreciation, Research and Extension (CARE)
Through every performance, the Song Weavers Philippines live out their belief that music can touch lives, inspire dreams, and weave people together.
